Aditya Dhar

Aditya Dhar (born 12 March 1983) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist, and producer who works in Hindi films. He made his directing debut with 2019 war film Uri: The Surgical Strike; which received critical acclaim with commercial success, becoming the fourth highest grossing Indian film of the year. For Uri, Dhar won National Film Award for Best Direction. His next directorial, an spy action thriller Dhurandhar released in 2025 with ensemble cast, which received generally positive reviews from the critics and became a huge commercial success, emerged as the third highest grossing Indian film of the year.
